Has anyone who's been to Morocco get addicted to the coffee? Isn't it delicious. Think I'm gonna have to buy

an espresso machine. I've tried heating milk and putting in instant coffee which is also good, but the coffee at the coffee shops is sooooooo good.

Fez: Yes it's the cafe au lait I'm talking about.

Did you try the coffe in the Moroccan cafes? or just home coffe that mixed with spices, hmm delicious, the best coffe in the world, both of them. Nuss Nuss or half-half in the Moroccan cafes are the best in the whole world, hope you tried it

Most places that advertise 'coffee' just sell you instant coffee....yuck.
Cafe au lait is good but I don't call that coffee....majority milk is just not coffee to me.
BUT any drink served to me on the beachfront in Agadir is the best. Of course I mean no alcohol!!

I hate coffee but I like coffee flavored ice cream, go figure! But as Sarah asked were you talking about cafe au lait?

edit: Terry, I think that is so funny because I could live without the sugar too but that goes so against the Moroccan idea of tea!

edit: cafe au lait is better than coffee itself -to me anyway. :)

BLECH! I hate coffee. I am a huge fan of tea now though and even brought tea and a teapot back with me. :-)) But I'm a little different and prefer mine with no mint and NO SUGAR. My family there understood not using mint but cringed when I drank it with no sugar LOLOLOLOLOL Welcome to the world of diabetes :-P

ummm sounds good. I drink mostly tea but enjoy a good strong coffee sometimes.

Yes its delicious! and it's a small civilized size like in Spain, unlike the gallons they serve at Starbucks.

TerryG - I don't eat sugar cause I don't like what it does to me and I'm vegetarian so I'm a real weirdo in Morocco. :-)))

I think the milk is what makes the difference it is so fatty. We make good coffee at home, we have the espresso maker, we have a coffee/cappuccino machine, I bring coffee from Brazil, which is really good. But I do believe it never tastes the same because of the milk.
