What is the crime rate in morocco?

What is the crime rate in morocco?

I don't know what figures you are really looking for so here is a link:

From the US State Dept. : http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw...

Is has definitely decreased. They have instituted a special unit in Casablanca which is extremely expeditious they have also detered people from pay-offs. As in every country, crime does exist, but Morocco is working hard to decrease it.

Don't know the statistics but I can say that there are many more police officers all around the country. They have increased in their presence around the cities, in the streets and as well as building small stations in many neighborhoods. So I guess with this, the rate of crime has decreased.

The only real statistic I know of is that you are 99.9% sure you won't be held at gun point any time soon in morocco....morocco is fire arms free country.
And that's a great thing my friend
