Any hotel reccomendations in marakesh?

thinking of going early nov, just me and my girlfriend, 4* minimum.

thanks

The riads are the best bet, the one we stayed at was the Riad Kaiss(4*) 10 mins walk through the Medina to Djemna El Fna the main square. The Riad is very homely and is built around an open courtyard. It has a hammam and a small swimming pool.We were so impressed, we're going again next year. The food is excellent but you must book beforehand. If you can, ask for the room that has its own private balcony.Bliss.
Check it out on the Riad Kaiss website, it's well worth a look.

I stayed in the Hotel Amine. It was a good clean cheap hotel. It needed a bit of decorating but given that it went so cheap, I wasn't too bothered aboutthe decor. The breakfast was a bit naff but to be honest, there were several cafes 10 minutes down the road that did breakfast. The hotel itself is a distance from the city and the tourist sites but to be honest, this was not an issue. There was a bus from the hotel to the city costing about Dh3.50 or a taxi costing Dh20 (negotiate and agree a price upfront for a taxi otherwise they will take you the long way round saying they are taking you on a tour and charge you Dh100). I found the hotel from Medhotels.

Visit www.onevacationclub.com - You can book on line. I have used them in the past and they are very good. Click on Holiday Shop or Worldwide Travel to find the hotels/stars/info/location etc. Many save rate hotels and good quality.
You do not need to be a member to book the hotels, however as a member you will save more money as you will be able to book resorts and those prices are per unit rather than per person.
Have a nice holiday.
