Is Zelo a Moroccan name?

In the time I was there I never heard it once. Maybe it's a new, modern name... Anyone care to educate me?

I guess I better answer this one...

Zelo is an old Italian word for 'crazy' or 'zealous' ZEaLOus.

Today the Italian would be zelante.

Why nick Zelo...

Has nothing to do with the Italian or crazy.

When I was young I wrote a 'book' called "Journey to the Planet Zelocepheurance [zay-low-say-feur-ance]" and I shortened it up to Zelo when I got on the internet. In 1996 4-letter domain names were a dime a dozen and low and behold the name Zelo was not taken.

There are two restaurants (one in MN and one in CA) that I know of that also have that name....

I know of no affiliation with the name Zelo in arabic but the equivalent would be:
Arabic: 丨賻賲賽爻貙 賲購鬲賻丨賻賲賾賽爻

If anyone has other insight that indeed there is an Arabic connection please continue this thread... I'm curious

Yes, but they pronounce it 'sefr'

rofl.

Oh
zeLo, I thought you said zeRo.

Zelo is a word in Italian. Perhaps it is a name too.

Zelo is zero without your front teeth.......
