Is Morocco dangerous.I wanna go on a vacation there? Short answer: no. Morocco, though being a Muslim nation, is the most open country and their people are known for their generosity and openness. No, not really. I mean things happen everywhere but I would feel safer there than in the U.S. and many other places. Have you been to a third world country before? There are some things to keep in mind but if you are a smart and a frequent traveler I really doubt you would have any real problems. only parts of it :-) NO! I lived there for 6 months and had absolutely no problems. Use common sense, avoid suspicious areas, dress appropriately and respect the culture and religion and you should be just fine. Generally speaking no. There have been a few incidents in the past few years, as in many other countries, but the government has been quick to react and does so quite strongly. no. it's not a dangerous country. just avoid hanging out alone late at night. and avoid empty places. Whaaat ?? dangerous?? nahhhhh....just come and have fun, i've been living here in the biggest city for more than 20 years and it's really safe. not a dangerous place. Just be prudent like everywhere else. If you need help, let me know. Yassine, Casablanca I traveled to Europe and North Africa when I was 18 in 1970, and hitch-hiked from Tangier to Casablanca and Marrakesh and on to Fez...just an amazing country. I was from a small town in Alberta, Canada and extremely naive and trusting. As I was on a low budget, I was always looking for the cheapest place to stay, so I did encounter some very clever and tricky people trying to get me to stay at their hotels...and was tricked several times, but never felt Moroccans would be violent. Most people were very hospitable. If you behave properly in their country, I am sure you will earn their respect, and not encounter problems. |
