What is your favorite city in Morocco?

My favorite is Marrakech, because it's always so much fun to shop around in the medina and see all the performers.

I agree with you.. ;-)

I love them all. I spent most of my time in smaller villages though. They are less touristy, simple and truly Moroccan in culture.

I haven't been to many cities yet but Marrakesh it great....I love the souks there and the Jema el Fnaa and just the color of the place. :D

I like Marrakesh, too, but as my favourite I would pick Essaouira. Outside the high season it's a great place: the locals are truly friendly (much more than in tourist-flooded Marrakesh), the old part of town is beautiful, the harbour with all the seagulls is a fantastic place and there's even a passable beach. Not to mention the lovely little family-run restaurants. Number two would be Tetouan, number three Mirleft.

Agadir. I love it.

Just out of curiosity to the person above me. What on earth do you like about Mirleft? There is absolutely NOTHING there besides houses of Europeans who were to cheap to shop for homes in existing cities. There is zero anything else. They don't even have a restaurant, lol. Okay, maybe one that serves a bad tagine. ;)

I really like Fez, Essaouira and the beaches near Tetouan. But I must say my favorite city, where I would like to live if I were to live in Morocco, is Rabat.

Marrakech

chefchaouen, it's a lovely city in th north of morocco.

I've been to Marrakech, Rabat, Casablanca, Tanger, Agadir and Meknes.
At the moment my favourite city is Agadir. I feel like I'm in heaven when stay in the city.
