Who loves henna? |
I do! I do! They put gasoline in mine. Personally, I use essential oils. I absolutely love henna and love Kenzi's henna work! She is a great henna artist and quite nice. I have not had henna done to me I only saw henna stands at like an amusement park that takes like a half hour or maybe less I got it once, it took about 45 minutes to make, but it wasnt a big design. Thanks for the links. I love henna but I don't like to wait for it to dry. As you may know, some women here in Al-Mahgrib mix dulio(paint thinner) in the henna. I know that some women put it but I failed to ask this one women who put it for me. I tried to make the henna dry quicker by placing my hands above a lit stove................YIKES the flames reached my palms ......... Alhamdulilah I wasn't burned. I LOVE how henna looks when it's dry and the paste comes off, but the drying process is annoying and takes too long. I always want to scratch it off because it itches so much! I have one permanent tattoo, but never tried henna. It is one of the things I'm looking forward to the most when I get married in Morocco in a few months. I've heard that the person applying it can even write the fiance's name within the designs and that many women have that included. I do I do!! I do too! I do too! i LOVE henna....especially at weddings!! i can even put henna on myself.....i took some classes...how long was the longest? well....we usually put it on before we go to sleep and then leave it on until we wake up....or early in the morning..it does take a while for it to dry..lol... i love it I love henna! Every time I am in Morocco my mother in law calls someone to do henna on me at the house before I leave. I guess she is just happy that I like so much since most young Moroccan men and women I know try to avoid it since they hate the smell. I am lucky it doesn't really bother my husband that much either! Ohh I loved getting Henna done. i know i am a guy and all,, and this is a question for the girls... no dont even think about it...i did not put henna on my hands... that is not why i am answering... Have only used it on my hair and not hands or feet ....not yet anyway :) It does condition the scalp nicely but unless your hair is black you really need other natural ingredients to tone down the red, such as coffee. Its good to keep the dandruff away. I love henna, I always wear it for eid, or if I am going to a wedding or something, They are very beautiful. It takes long for it to reveal a nice coulor lol.hope this helps.xxx I like it too. Once i had it on my hair, black henna. It had to stay all night.I could clean it in the morning. I love henna. I don't know how to do it, but my friend does it very good. I do. yes,i like henna very much....but i dont know how to make design...as i use my own design which i like:-) They use Henna in Morocco. I thought only Hindus in India did it for weddings, I am wondering If Indians got this tradition from the middle east. In India I think they also hide the name of the Groom in between all the designs on the hand of the bride. The Groom is supposed to find his name or else he can't take the bride on the honey moon. i do,i love it,never had it done but think it is the best.maybe i can get these toes covered,LOL I love henna! I'm learning to do it myself (I have all the tools and a good steady hand but never realized how difficult using the syringe would be!) so I can do it for my friends in the States. |

The official currency for Morocco, including Marrakesh is Moroccan Dirhams. You may be able to use other money there but it's best to exchange it for the native currency. ...You can get a silver ring for about $10, maybe less if you haggle with the pricing. I am not sure about white gold or platinum, but the prices are awesome there compared to the US. Another though... RIght now the Canary Islands are evacuated due to Massive forest fires.....they are worried as much as 1/2 the islands will be destroyed. ...My husband says they are not very common and although they have a washer (no need for a dryer when you have the whole roof to dry things in the sun) they wash a lot of things by hand (my observatio... yes if you get in a bad area :) ...MARRAKESH --you shouldn't go to Morocco without going there.
