This will be my third queston on Morocco today?

But anyway.... Sorry If I sound ignorant. I am I guess. I have never been there. But I am excited and want to be inspired. So, to the question..... I only have 2 - 3 weeks there, so to those who have been. Where would you go back to. Where is it most alive with culture? (busy) I am particularly interested in buying lots of goodies to bring home (moroccon art).
Thanks

MARRAKESH --you shouldn't go to Morocco without going there. Plus, it is very alive and there are lots of places to buy things.

Y'know the hills have eyes 2 was filmed in morocco? Be careful...DUNDUNDUN

There are three distinct places you will want to visit.

1. Marrakech -- this has the most shops and a slew of medinas and souks for all types of wares.

2. Safi -- this is where you want to go to get your pottery.

3. Fez -- this is the place to get your leather goods.

You will find that just about anywhere in Morocco you can get goods that are authentic (and a lot that are not, especially the leather) in places like Rabat and Casablanca... stick with where the wares were actually made and you will have a great time.

I share your excitement... I get excited everytime I have the chance to go over there!

Marrakech
Rabat
Essaouira
Fes
