Shipping from Morocco?

Hi. I have a relative that wants to decorate their home in the Moroccan style and they want to go all out. Has anybody ever used this container shipping option off of this site? : http://www.berbertrading.com/container_o...

We have contacts in Morocco that can buy the stuff for her and then send it off. What international shipping companies are good? What should we be looking for in a company? What are good questions to ask? How do we need to go about doing this?

We also live about 4 hours from a port. Can the goods still be delivered to us? Any help would be appreciated.

I know one company, "Hapag-Lloyd" have container ships calling Casablanca. It is a very well known international company.Have a couple friends working there.

What port do you want to ship the goods?

never heard of the one you mentioned.

For your second question, yes, if you make the agreement as "door to door" transportation, they will pick up the goods from whereever you want put them in a container and drop it on your door. That's the comman practice.

I've never used them but I think one of the smaller shipping containers costs at least a few thousand dollars. It'd be cheaper to get your friends to buy you the stuff there and ship it.

Look in the Muslim Yellow Pages to find a shipping company. That's what we plan on doing when the time comes to use one.

Do you have an inland port by you? They are building one by us.
I wish we could have our whole apt. Moroccan-infused a bit more than it is. :)
