How much do Digital SLR cameras currently run in Morocco?

it's 10 megapixels --this is a picture of the body w/o the lens. I do want a lens of course!

I want to get back into photography again......I used to be really into it and won awards and stuff....I am just wondering if it might oddly enough be cheaper there. A few years back they were cheaper in Spain than any other European country. Cheaper than in America too.

Umm Selma, it helps. By the way, you can get one of those players (I keep meaning to) online. I saw it once at a Greek store online for like $50-$100 it was actually multi-zone so you could play stuff from anywhere and came with some Greek kids DVD. I'll try to find it again sometime.

I am sure this is going to be no help, due to the fact that I am not 100% sure. I have never looked at getting a camera in Morocco. But, here is what I think from experience of what I was looking for.

I was looking for electronics when I was in Morocco as well. Mostly a region 2 DVD player, so we could play movies from all over. I found them so much more expensive then I could buy here at places like Walmart. (but, not the region 2 player, because it is not sold in the US) Also, noticed that the electronics were not as high end as they are here.

When were in Morocco last year, my husband noticed that things had gotten much more expensive. Also, with the dollar going down so much, it might not be worth it due to the exchange rate the way it is now.

I can't give you an exact price of course, lol, but in my opinion prices have actually gone DOWN in the last few years on electronic items here in Morocco. That is due to the new trade agreement with China.
From the little bit of looking I have been doing (I am looking for a new camera also) the prices are comparable to USA
You can get fine quality items here, you may not have as many options but you have good options.
