Do you know what boujaloud are?

ROFL
So far no one is right.

It's the entrance into the city, that keyhole shaped opening in the wall surrounding the city...

*****LOL Ali said it's a big pimple caused by evil eye :-)****

~~~~~ I KNOW!!!!!!! It's a goat skin costume kids wear and bug other kids for money. If they say no, they hit the kids with the goat's feet! LOL Silly kids! Must be an Agadirian thing :-)~~~~
sorry, no idea at all
There are original defensive walls, which are penetrated at irregular intervals by a massive gate which is called the boujaloud. there is also neighborhood near fez called boujaloud where there is a stinky tannery.
:'(
My husband isn't home so I cannot ask him.....he sees his family in Agadir a lot ...maybe he would know....then again, he didn't know what white harira was. ;)
My husband was not sure. But, he made some guesses. His first guess was something to do with skin.
Then he went and said, something along the lines of it being some kind of plant.
Then, he went and said...it could also be a name.
So, I can pretty much say, he had no idea!!!
It is a keyhole shaped entry into a city.
boy you are loud? xD
i'm not sure about the meaning around Agadir but i'm kinda sure that it's in some places in Morocco, boujaloud is the name of the adenoids vegetations, a tissue of skin that grows between the nose cavity and the back of the mouth. In other places, boujaloud is some kind of buttons (i think the big ones)
boujaloud =in Moroccan means rashes, with buttons everywhere on your skin. Irritation often due to microbes.
