How do I move to Morocco?

I have met someone and want to move to Morocco to be with him and share in new adventures in life. I am from the United States and I feel like I belong seeing other parts of the world. What do I have to do to move to Morocco? Visas, etc.... Please help.

I would think a visit would be a good idea, before you make any large decisions on life. I do not know if you have seen this man in person yet.

If you just want to go visit, you can for up to 90 days. Then if you plan on staying longer, the paperwork can be done there.

You can read more on it, here...

GOOD LUCK!!!! And have fun!!

Let me guess, you met him online and now are convinced he is the one? Im Not making fun of you, its just allllll tooo common these days. Listen, go VISIT the country, meet him....THEN proceed. or run away....If he is from Morocco he should be a muslim. He shuldnt try to kiss you or even hold your hand, let alone sleep with you, If he does, then he isint true to his religion, and if he isint true to his religion, then he surely wont be true to you....take care...IF u go and marry him or whatever, moving there is not hard. Just a matter of extending your visa. Assuming you can afford to stay and not work, but if u marry him then its easier, etc etc

I second what Adam said about if he is not true to his religion he will not be true to you.

You have to make sure he is not in it for a green card.

If you find he is a good man he should want to marry.

Staying is not hard, some simple paperwork after being married or if you get a job here they can sponsor you.

Yeah, everyone else already said it.

VISIT first ---then see what is going on. Take your time. Falling in love is a great feeling but don't be blinded by it!

Come visit but you can't stay longer than 3 months. If you do, you must report it to the proper authorities here, police. Let it be known that they are getting more strict with the rules here. You can be arrested upon departure if you had over stayed your 90 days. That is if you hadn't had the permission. To come into the country if you are American, you don't need a visa. To live here, you must have a residency card made. This is valid for up to 10 years. This is done at the police precinct in the area of where you will live. But be sure to bring all necc. documents with you to verify everything.
