Have you ever been in a house in Morocco that was dirty?

I mean dirty because the people don't clean good not because the floor is actually dirt.

It seems to me that most Moroccans keep their houses extremely clean and tidy. The only house in Morocco I have been in that I would consider dirty due to poor housekeeping was lived in by an American woman, lol.

Now that you mention it and I think about it, I have to say NO. They may have been older and in disrepair, or worn from years of use, but I cannot actually say I was in a dirty house in Morocco. I wish the cleanliness inside carried over to the outside though... the streets where we live are often a mess.

lol, that's funny. I haven't been in many. I can only say that YES it was a LITTLE dirty but it was mostly because part of it was open and dust/dirt always came in but it wasn't like eww gross! (Otherwise it was very clean.) Kinda like my apt. I have tons of plants (with dirt, obviously) on my balcony and I leave the door open a lot...that area of the room (near the door) seems to be impossible to keep clean.

Tell that American woman to get a housekeeper, it seems like everyone I met there had one! lol

Yes, a little, but then my husband was a bachelor for many years and works all the time. And its been my experience that alot of men dont like to clean that often. He is very clean himself, just didnt have the time. It is now much cleaner, I am happy to say, lol. And more organized. hehehe
