How often do you use Ras el Hanout?

Do you sprinkle a little in most things you cook or do you just use it for certain dishes? I only recently found out that dh uses a little bit in almost everything he ever makes.

It's a Moroccan spice blend. There are many different varieties, basically it is a mix of all the top spices the shop has -some ppl say it contains aphrodisiacs. Ras is head Hanout is shop it means Top(head) of the shop because it is supposed to be the best.

Not often. I prefer to add my own spices one at a time.

I love Ras el Hanout and have found a great mail order supplier in the UK.

I tend to use in casseroles/stews rather than in everything and often supplement it with some chillies.
