Why did my mother in law ruin the treed?

The wife to my husbands uncle just had a baby so treed day was today. I didn't go but my m-i-l sent some treed over for me for after maghrib time.
The treed this time was made with almonds in it. It tasted like the same nut mixture they put into chicken bastilla (which I don't like) mixed with my treed! It completely ruined it!

Why did my mother in law do this? ;-( waaaa

LOL.
If she wanted attention from my husband she shouldn't of added the nuts to the treed. He was grossed out too!
Even so he see's her everyday and I know she loves me :))

1)She wanted to keep it for herself and knew you wouldn't eat it.
2)She doesn't like that you are talking to me and knew that you wouldn't like it nor be able to give it to me to enjoy because it is also probably filled with fenugreek which is supposed to stimulate lactation (I cannot handle the fenugreek). ;P
3)She thought you loved all her food!
4)She is a mother-in-law, who knows why they do what they do?

(((sarah t)))

Your mother in law feels like she is not getting enough attention and that you are getting more. She is striking out of frustration. Be kind to her and make sure that your husband gives her some extra time. good luck

Jealousy!

Maybe it was a mistake. The excitement with the baby and all, some people just lose head. I am sorry for your disappointment :-(
