Fly to Mexico requirements without passpot??

Im flying to Mexico roundtrip for the first time in 14 years and I couldn't get my passport. What do I need to get thru without it??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i traveled with a birth certificate and id to cancun. it took alittle bit longer through the long lines. plus the usps told my sister that pasports are not required until the end of the year. Her and her fiance lost all personal doc's in hurricane katrina so they just reordered the birth cert. they would have never had time to get a birth cert and passport in 1 months time.....

You need a passport.

sorry to say, but you need a passport to travel to different countries. i don't think you can use anything else.

I know that when you are crossing the US/Mexico border by car or foot a passport is not required, but it might be different when one is flying. Have you called the airline?

Go get a new passport.

Much better to have a passport .... but drivers license and notarized birth certificate will do
