Trip to Montreal?

Me and my friends (age 18) are planning a trip to Montreal. To get into Canada from the States do you need a passport? Where should we stay in Montreal if we want to party? Any other input would also be appreciated.

Trixiecat is totally right! (Cute nickname by the way!)

You only need a passport if you're flying to Montreal.

If you're driving into Canada, at the moment you only need some kind of valid photo I.D.

Need I say more?

At the present time you do not need a passport if you are driving into Canada, but if you are flying you should have one. It just eliminates any possible hassles.

If you are coming to Montreal to party then stay in the downtown near St. Catherine St., that's where the most of the party action is.
