What would u buy in Montreal as a tourist.....?

what represents Montreal? what would be good to bring back?

have had maple syrup many times before since i am from ontario canada.

A few suggestions...
A dozen bagels (see link below). Yum!
A Montreal Canadien's Hockey Jersey.
Montreal International Jazz Festival t-shirt.
A key chain from the Olympic Stadium.
Art from a local, (sold on the streets in summer...)
A CD of a local band, just go to any music shop and ask, then pick what you like...
An item from Cirque du Soleil.
A picture of yourself holding a picture of the person in question at your favourite Montreal location, lol.

Have fun!

Smoked meat and Bagels! Seriously... They're unbelievable!

I actually have flags from everywhere I have gone. I get a flag and a post card and put them around a giant wall map I have in my room. My brother however gets a key chain.

Smoked Meat
Bagels
Maple Syrup
Stuff from street vendors

probably the t-shirt I saw in a Catalog from Montreal

It says I've been Here I've Been there I've Been Everywhere
MONTREAL TOO! YAHOOOO!!!

Or Else the French Hot Sauce spice.. if I didn't want the
t-shirt!

You should try those delicious maple flavored cookies in the shape of a maple leaf.

Ever you ever tasted maple butter or spread or even maple syrup?

Yummy!

P.S. Sorry, I got maple on the brain, evidently!

Actually you can bring back many things such as candy / chocolate( smarties for example) or you can get a souvenir such as a cup that sais montreal or has a picture of downtown montreal etc... on it.
