What's your favourite place in Montreal?

What's your favourite place in Montreal?

Do you want a list, lol?

Seriously, it's really hard to pick just one spot you know.

The Old Montreal has always fascinated me; it's like walking into a totally different city, I swear!

I've always felt comfortable on Sainte-Catherine Street, especially the West side of town, and on Saint-Denis Street and Saint-Laurent Boulevard too, which is only a couple of minutes walk away from my home considering I live on Sainte-Famille Street at the foot of the Mont-Royal between Jeanne-Mance and Prince-Arthur Streets, just a stone's throw from Sherbrooke Street, La Cit茅 and La Place-des-Arts!

Pretty neat huh?

Ever been there yourself?

By the way, do you live in Montreal too and what is your favorite area?

P.S. One of the really cool things about Montreal is that you can walk everywhere; you don't really need a car to stroll through downtown for example, unlike most other big North-American cities (besides NYC maybe). Montreal also has a pleasant European feel, like Quebec City, which you don't get anywhere else in Canada or in the U.S. for that matter.

EVERYWHERE!!

One of the best things about Montreal is the great food! I liked the Museum of Fine Arts and the old Montreal ghost tour was fun. One of the neatest things about Montreal is that it is a "double decker" city with miles of shopping and commercila ventures underground. Lots of old neighborhoods and magnificent old churches to see. There is so much to see and do that there is something for every taste.

The very best place in Montreal is the club 737 on top of the most prestigious sky scraper: the Ville-Marie complex.
It's the tallest building with four super powerful rotating beams.

From there you have such an incredible view of all downtown, the Mount Royal, and the South Shore. You can enjoy it either from the restaurant, the bar, or the disco/club.

For a 5 to 7 the access to the bar is free and you don't even have to buy a drink. Also, in summer, two outside extra large terraces are opened and that's the best place to watch the international firework competition. It's a must see.
Proper attire is required though.

Montreal's best kept secret is the underground City. You can walk from the Eaton Centre to Chinatown entirely underground.... with lots of crazy tunnels along the way. Not to mention a piece of the Berlin wall!
