Most Canadians take great pride in our diversity and multi-culturalism. That being said however, we are not immune from prejudices and yes, you may find that some discriminate. No society is perfect, ours is no different.

Much less then you would find in some other countries as we take pride as canadians in diversity and our multiculturism.
IT is a different social accpetance we have then Americans.If one has actually lived in Both places extensivly instead of just what media tells you ..you would understand this

BUT every where you can not weed out some ignorance in the bunch but it's nothing to worry about !!!!

Racism can be found everywhere, unfortunately, but it's true that Canadians as a whole do take pride in cultural diversity and multiculturalism.

Now, who would you say is more racist and/or less tolerant towards the Muslim community: the Americans or Canadians?

Well, I've spent years in both countries and I would say the Americans are overall more racist as a whole and less accepting of Muslims (probably due to 911 but that's just a hunch), can you believe this?

Maybe you're better off in Canada after all, what do you reckon?

Decent people don't discriminate against people of other faiths.

I have heard about a scam where someone claiming to be from the Omni hotel in Canada is telling people that she can find them jobs here - it is a scam - do not send money.

I live in Canada and I got one from someone calling themselves "Miss Rose from the Omni Hotel" the email was badly written with lots of mistakes, please do not be taken in by these people.
