How old do you have to be to purchase a cat in montreal, or canda in general.?

I am moving up there , and i don't want to live alone, i've had cats all my life and i'm ready for my own. Do you have to be 21? or 18?, i am 19.

Probably 18 considering that's the legal adult age here in Canada.

Good luck to you & enjoy your new cat!

19 is the legal age in Ontario
18 in Quebec

I don't know what's the idea about 21, in Quebec it's 18 or less for almost everything. Buying what you want, to work and rent an apartment, etc. The only things are limits from Insurance companies or some laws (sometimes more difficult to rent a car or an apartment under 21 or 25).

21 in Quebec

any age for the rest of Canada!! :)
