We were conquered by the Spaniards in the XVI century
We achieved our independence in 1821 after 11 years of fighting the spanish (the war started in 1810).
We had a president called Porfirio Diaz who remained in power for over 30 years, which led to our Revolution in 1910.

it's name is actually: los estados unidos de mexico (united states of mexico)

the native language is not spanish, that came from the spaniards when they invaded.

Mexico is very rich in history you could go back to the Aztecs, mayas, Olmecas, Chichimecas, etc.
Then came the Spaniards. Destroyed everything and colonized.
Then cam the French, we got rid of them.
Then came the U.S. to whom Santana sold more than half of Texas to, remember the Alamo.
Finally we are here, a beautiful nation with freedom and tons of opportunities for those who want to work. I love my country but talking about its history would take ages.
