I'm moving to mexico city?

I'm moving to mexico city. I have a 1 1/2 year old daugher and we go to parks (playgrounds) everyday and I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any good playgrounds in mexico city or just any good kid friendly places I can bring my daughter.

There are many playgrounds and small parks-often called jardines (gardens) around Mexico City. Almost every neighborhood has at least one. If you are downtown you will want to visit La Alameda next to the Palacio de Bellas Artes. This is Mexico's Main downtown park. The largest park, not far from Downtown is Parque Chapultepec, there are several art museums, a lake with boats to rent, the Natl. Museum of Archeology and History, an amusement park AND el Papalote, Museo del Ni帽o ( the Children's Museum) which is a fascinating place for adults also. At the Centro Comercial Santa F茅 ( The Mall to which someone else referred) is La ciudad de los Ni帽os ( Kid Town for want of a cooler translation) which costs , but is a great time for kids 5-early teens- allows them to pretend they are in govt. industry, commerce, etc. My son loved it when he was young enough. In the Colonia Roma- Colonia Condesa area there are Parque Espa帽a and Parque Mexico, just nice small city parks in nice areas not really playgrounds, which is not to say kids don't play there. Yes we have Six Flags. You don't say what part of Mexico City you will be living in. On the north side is Bosque de Arag贸n which has pretty much everything you would expect of a city-municipal park in the US. To the northwest in Estado de M茅xico(Mexico State) in the city of Naucalpan is Parque Naucalli which has playgrounds, rides, an amphitheater, crafts and museum, archery and the usual parky stuff. -take the Perif茅rico Norte beltway and it's on the left about 5-7 miles outside Mexico City. To the southwest, slightly past the Santa F茅 shopping center is DEsierto de los Leones which is really more of a woodsy-forest area than a desert- great for nature walks and cookouts. There is also a park in the southernmost part of the D.F. on an extinct volcano called El Ajusco. If you have a car and time try to enjoy the surroiunding states of Mexico, Puebla, Morelos and Hidalgo on weekends. Mexico City has a lot to offer, just like any great city.

There are some nice areas to walk around in Condesa (an area in Mexico City) and Polanco. Also, there is a shop (for lack of a better word) in a mall in Santa Fe called "Museo del Nino" (I'm not sure if there are located in Mexico City) which is a very popular spot for kids. When you first get there, it's appears to be a ticket counter for an airline and the kids can dress up and pretend and I've heard great things about it. Also, there is a Six Flags and there is a theme park known as "La Feria" which has lots of rollercoasters and there are many rides that would be great for your daughter.

Bosque de Chapultepec is one of the best forests in America. You can麓t miss it, EVERYONE knows Bosque de Chapultepec.

Of course. Chapultepec is a good option to travel.
Is located in the south MExico.
There are trees., ducks, goose.....

Maribel, sorry but Chapultepec is not in the "south of Mexico"..... it's rather on the north-western part of the city, not tooooo far from downtown, and yes it's a nice place to walk and see some ducks and even pedal or row a boat in the little lake.... buy some cotton candy and that kind of stuff, or even go to the adjacent zoo which is really nice.... all this for free!!! Enjoy.....

wow, i don't know how i'm supposed to help you in finding a playground in Mexico City (no offense). But yeah, there lots of fun family things to do, and yes, tons of playgrounds and parks.
