There is a restaurant where I live called Mexicali Rose, where does this title come from? Mexicali Rose is a restaurant with five locations in the midwest and three in california. It is run by a husband and wife, who strangley enough have never been to Mexicali. But who do have a pretty good idea of how to runa business and cook semi-authetic mexican food. A hooker in Baja California. Mexicali is actually a little city on off the border ear Calexico. It is South of the Tijuana/San Diego border. from a movie Initially?... a 1939 Gene Autry movie. old mexico It was actually a 1929 movie starring Barbara Stanwyck, Regis Toomy and Sam Hardy. Barbara played the title role of Mexicali rose. it was her second movie. (If you don't cont the 1 silent bit part on Broadway nights) Most credit it as being her first movie. |

Check with INS You need Passport, credit card, car title in your name and should not be without Mexican insurance ...are you kidding me? just go to the nearest intersection! ...u traveling from tijuana to ensenada,thats easy,a bus ride will cost u about 11 dollars,it will take u an hour and half to get their,once your in TIJUANA get a taxi to the Central,BUSS STATION that... October is a good weather month in this zone, if you mean hotels, there are a lot, from 40 to 200 dollars or more per night. Good hotels i can recomend are, ARAIZA INN, COLONIAL, LUCERNA, FIESTA I... You can fly. There are many airlines like Mexicana, Aviacsa, Aerom茅xico, and even some US Airlines fly to it (MXL)... Also you could drive, just remember to bring a deposit for your car and proof... As far as bringing kids is concerned, here is what you need to know: because Mexico is a major destination for international child abductions, there are a lot of rules in place for parents travelin... |
