Definitely the Costa de Oro is the best of the two. Luna Palace is just a very ordinary hotel (nice beach though) that caters to the all inclusive charter flight crowd that's looking for a ba... Stone Island is always good. It's busy on cruise ship day but if you walk a bit down the beach you will have some privacy. Maybe Hacienda Las Moras?? Great place and they do alot of events, ... I would say the lighthouse- El Faro (which, as of yesterday, is now lighted for nightime hiking---I bet the view of the city lights is breathtaking!), Plazuela Machado, Stone Island, eat shrimp, do... El Cid Castilla Beach Hotel. You can pick all inclusive or EP plan. ...I would say no since they are mostly being placed in tourist areas. Large cities like Mexico and Guadalajara would be the exception ...What do you like doing?
