What are the most naturally beautiful and scenic areas of Mazatlan? |
I am taking a cruise to Mazatlan at the end of October and will be conducting outdoor worship services and need to be in an outdoor setting that is simply breathtaking. I need to know where to go and how to get there with a nice sized group (50 - 100) Stone Island is always good. It's busy on cruise ship day but if you walk a bit down the beach you will have some privacy. Maybe Hacienda Las Moras?? Great place and they do alot of events, http://www.lasmoras.com/. Also Estrella del Mar, www.estrelladelmar.com. Very breathtaking and they do special things for cruise ship people all the time. If either one of those places can accomodate you, I am sure they could handle transportation as well. To move a group that size, I would recommend Stone Island. The cruise ship dock is only a few hundred meters north of the landing for the pangas (Small 27 foot boats) that can take 10 or 15 people per boat over to the island. ($1.50 US each, ask for a deal) It is a 10 min. boat trip, then walk or ride through the village to the ocean and turn south (Left). Go a few hundred feet and you can have your service on the beach right there in some privacy. |
