I was wondering How much money you would need to take to Ensenada Just for the weekend?

A group of us girls are going to be going to Ensenada and was wondering how much money is good to take with us

Me and a few other girls are going to be going to Ensenada just or the weekend, and we plan on going to a club and i know i like to shop but for cloths..how much money would be good to take?

If your shopping doesn't get out of control 2 or 3 hundred bucks out to do it. However; this does not include lodging. some of the hotels can be quite pricey. Ensenada is a great place to shop with specialties in Stained glass, leaded glass ware and pottery. Mexican rugs are colorful and inexpensive and there are lots of small shops that cater to the tourist trade. Remember to bargain. Its a Mexican tradition! Have fun!!!

If you are going to drive down and spend two nights in Ensenada, plus meals, I would suggest a few hundred dollars plus credit cards in case you decide to enjoy a shopping spree or go clubbing, etc. There is so much to do in Ensenada, and it really depends on whether you and your friends are athletic and interested in sporty activities like fishing or kayaking, scuba diving, etc. or if you'd rather lounge by the pool with a good book.

The drive to Ensenada from San Diego is about 60 miles, so count on gas costs ($180 at $3 per gallon) plus somewhere between $35 and $40 for Mexican insurance (car) and then you'll have the hotel which could range anywhere between $60 and $300 - depending on the kind of luxury you're looking for. But, if you split all that between a group of girls, the weekend should still be very reasonable - and a lot of fun!

By the way, there is an AWESOME taco shop called Cielito Lindo near that famous bar, Hussongs. If you make it near there, you should definitely try it. We make the drive south just to get tacos there!

About 300...there isnt much to shop for...except papas and beer stuff...u'll probably spend more money in the clubs....beer cost 3.75 at papas each!!(dlls) Dont go to Cielitos....theirs one better then that 1...its called Mctaco...the best...ask around for it...everybody knows it!
