Mazatlan Night Life!?

Going to Mazatlan, staying at Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay...tell me a great place for 2 single women in their 40's to go to have a few too many cocktails, dance and have a good time! can't keep up with the 20-something year olds anymore, but still love to have fun. want a friendly, fun atmosphere where we can meet new people, and be ourselves! can anyone suggest a club that would suit us?!

Emerald Bay is a about 8 miles north of the Golden Zone .. but they do have a shuttle that will take you to the other Pueblo Bonito in Mazatlan.

Take the shuttle from Emerald Bay to the other Pueblo Bonito and from there take a pulmonia (or the bus) to the heart of the Golden Zone. Usually things do not get going there until after 10 at night . It is safe to walk around Mazatlan .. check out that area for a while, and if nothing is happening there, then take a second Pulmonia to Plaza Machado. On the way you will pass a club called Canucks , which is very popular with the X-Pat crowd down there.

When you get to the Plaza, you will find that there are several clubs in that immediate area ... follow the music !! While there stop in and see Glen and Sharon at Casa De Leyendas (www.casadeleyendas.com ) ... tell them Eliot sent you .. they can give you some great advice as to where to go and what to do.

here are a few ideas where you could enjoy yourselves...have fun.
