Where can I find driving directions from CA to Mazatlan? |
Where can I find driving directions from CA to Mazatlan? Drive over to Nogales and head south on Mexico highway 15 to Mazatlan maybe from the world directory.. You can enter to http://www.mapquest.com there they have maps of all the world. You will find the highways numbers, towns along the way, gas stations, hospitals, etc. Is very easy to find your way. I don't know where you live in California, but find the way to take I-5 South, there in San Diego take I-8 East to Calexico and cross the border there to Mexicali, and then go south all the way to Mazatlan. You gonna spend at least 30 hours driving, and in this season is very, very hot, more than 100 degrees, so be patient and dont drink and drive. Yeah, Campaneris is right! You don't really need a map to get to MY city. You have only three options to cross the border into Mexico: Tijuana(San Isidro), Mexicali(Calexico) and Nogales(Nogales or Douglas). Mexican highways are no hassle to find. There is nothing to distract you, no side roads, no special instructions. I truly recomend you to choose Mexicali for entering. Tijuana is OK but the traffic can be intimidating sometimes. You can make your journey in less than 24 hours if you use the pay roads and stop for gas and food only. Buses usually make it between 22 and 26 hours, depending the bus line, so figure up. If you need any extra help, click on my nick to find my connecting link. One extra piece of advice: Visit the following link below. The hundreds of American citizens permanently living in Mazatlan are always willing to help you get to Mazatlan in the easiest way. Ask them, it's FREE. Once you open the page, go to their FORUM and get in contact with real people. See you in Mazatlan. |
