Where to stay overnight in Mauritius, cheaper?

This is kind of subjective .... so here goes with my assumptions.

- You want the cheapest ? Try the Coin De Mire Hotel at Cap Malheureux

- You want the best ? Try the Shandrani Hotel at Blue Bay - stunning !! It's situated on the south-east corner of the island, and is the closest property on Mauritius to the airport.

Being close to the airport, it is a good property if you are in transit or wanting to avoid long travelling times. There is some air traffic but it's not really much of an issue ... .actually the noise is fairly mild and intermittent.
