Honey moon - to mauritius - where do i go and how do i get there - please help.?

my fiance and i are going on honey moon to mauritius - please advise as to where in mauritius we should go - the hotel we should stay in and the air line we should go - we'll be going at the begining on august for one week and don;t want to spend more than 拢3000.00 ( flight and hotel) thanks.

Palmar Beach Resort in Belle Mare; we flew with air France/mauritius. total holiday cost under 拢2500 including flights from Edinburgh to Paris. ( all inclusive-Hotel ) Beach was lovely...not one of the most liveliest hotels but we wanted a 'veg' out holiday. Staff were brilliant, rooms clean and spacious and the grounds the hotel set in are lovely.Weather hot!
The only thing i would say is DONT book with lastminute.com!(bunch of idiots)

Choose a hotel near the aiport like BlueBAy. Which will cost you less on transport. Always try to travel by bus which is much cheaper than Taxi. If you want to buy things on the market always bargain with them or even better make friends with Mauritian people at the hotel the will help you. Go by Air Mauritius.
