am a mauritian, zere r loads of things out here, one of the most striking thing is ze variety of cultures out here, here u will find hindus, muslims, christians and buddhists living in perfect harmony, we celebrate most festivals together and christmas is celebrated at a national level...ze beaches r also gorgeous, the sun, the nature areas such as chamarel stated above, the waterfalls r just wow and many people say zat mauritians r cool people, always ready to help...well its upto u 2 decide abt zat and 4 this u will have to come to our paradise island...ur z most welcome n wish u have a nice stay!

I live in Mauritius...and it is the best place to live in! u have lots of places of interest... great beaches...good hotels..natural parks to visit..many shopping malls..different culture & traditions.. u just hav to visit here once!
