oh come on ppl. i need more replies!! yes i have been to mauritius because im from india and i went there for hoildays there are these small hut type houses al round hut type houses u can find near that a beaches are there its a very beautiful place i wish i had been quicker and rated the best answer. THE BEST ANSWER IS DEFINITELY NOT THE ONE UP.IT'S THE LAST ONE I WOULD HAVE CHOSEN AS IT DOES NOT SHOW ANYTHG ABT MAURITIUS. It is a beautiful place. The beaches are realatively unspoiled compared to many. Definitely a tropical paradise if you have the money to stay at a luxurious hotel on the beach. Believe me its paradise.. mark twain a famour america writer said that Mauitius was created first then heaven was copied on it ans believe me he was right. mauritius is one of the most beautiful tropical islands on the planet but what stands out are the people... anybody from anywhere in th world will be at home there.. all major langages are spoken, all major cuisines are found, the weather is fabulous, its not expensive, |

Mauritius caters to tourists and even lower rated hotels are very nice. I don't think that you will be disappo... I have twice and it is unbelievably beautiful.
