If you are holding a valid indian passport also endorsed with minimum USD 50/day for the duration of stay, have a confirmed return airticket, confirmed hotel/accomodation booking OR sponsor letter from a local resident there...then you may avail of Visa-on-arrival at Port Louis Airport., ie. if you have all the above- then you dont need a visa stamped here before you board your flight out of India

if you mean a visa to enter the country: it depends on where you are coming from but citizens of most "western" countries do not need a visa for a stay up to three months.

You do! But it also depends on your citizenship.

To visit, you just have to show proof of fund for stay, that would be some 50 usd day. Best is to have a hotel booked before travelling and pick your entry visa at the airport on arrival.
