I like to go to mauritius islan in februery do you think it is good time to go? |
how is the weather and amount of rain I went in February in 2004, i remember it was quite rainy and was the season for cyclones. Last year i went during the month of July and August and i must admit its better to go there near the end of its winter season where everything is shining brightly and its not too hot that will attract so much mosquitoes either. Usually around August, September should you consider going there, i think. it's always a good time to go to mauritius!!!! In February it's summer - so it's very warm, which is great because of all the activities being outside and on the beach! There may be chances of cyclones, but still the sun will shine most of the time, especially on the beaches. You can pick up a free magazine at the airport called islandinfo - mauritius in your hands. The best time to go is probably May to November. November to April is usually cyclone season and you may get caught in a lot of rain. You can't guarantee good/bad weather in any destination as we are having funny weather these days, so you could go in Feb and get good weather. Why dont you have a look on weather.com - but i would postpone my trip to later in the year if I was you No February is not a good month, it is the start of the rainy season. I have just come back from Mauritius (3 - 10 January) and there was a cyclone warning. |
