Ignore that homophobic non-entity. If there were 'gays' in the town hall being bribed to pave over green spaces, why would they shut down the notorious toilets at Piccadilly Gardens? It's just the latest rantings from ben.fanny/Hilda B/ruthanus/Eric D/John Dong who is a saddo from Birmingham which as I recall doesn't benefit from a city centre park either.

Anyway, as for Japanese gardens in the area, Tatton Park is the most famous one. Apparently there is a new one in Walkden Park, though it won't be on the same scale.
