Are there more City fans in Manchester than United fans?

I know there are more United fans all over the world but in Manchester which team has more fans.

Alright...so, we all hear that there are more City supporters in Manchester...but does that just mean the City of Manchester proper, or Greater Manchester...

The Red Devils have that huge stadium, and it's almost always full during matches...but I guess all them Asians and Americans fly into Mankyland just for matches...
