this rouite must be via M6 Motorway as far as Penrith turn off Leave M6 at junction 40 in direction A66, PENRITH, WORKINGTON, KESWICK. Follow A66 direction North Lakes, Keswick, then A5086 to Cockermouth. Total 130 miles. Once off the M6 at Penrith (Junction 40), take the A66 Westbound through the mountains. Follow that all the way round past Bassenthwaite lake. After about 30-40 minutes you will approach a roundabout. To the left is the Sheep Centre, Take 3rd exit (right) into Cockermouth. Ah Sharston! Thats took me back a bit - I'm born and bred in Sharston, Wythenshawe. Don't be such a lazy sod and use the Internet to find a route planner and get it yourself! just steal a car with sat nav |
