Tring to decided between Tahiti and Maldives for my honeymoon in March next year ne advise on romantic hotels?

Scuba dive in the maldives.

I went to Tahiti! It was a lot of fun!! I am planning to go back for some anniversary!

Tahiti, is the most romantic, and great diving, and horseback riding, and great cozy little waterfalls.........

Hi There

There are two types of romantic hotels in the Maldives

The first tend to be geared toward couples in general (doesn't matter if you're married or not)

The second kind of resort/hotel in the Maldives tend to be geared to people celebrating their nuptials be it honeymoon or renewal of vowels or anniversaries - they have plenty of packages for these groups.

So if you just want a resort where there are few people and lots of romantic elements water villas with Jacuzzis and plunge pools just for you and your beloved, candle lit suppers on the beach your room decorated with flowers then try resorts like:

Huvafen Fushi,

Dhoni Mighili

Taj Exotica Maldives

One&Only Kanuhura (also have a tailored honeymoon package)

One&Only Reethi Rah (also have a tailored honeymoon package)

But if you want a hotel that offers honeymoon packages that have all the elements above, but also have things like...

Champagne breakfast room service, Champagne bath ceremonies with fruits dipped in chocolate, Robinson Crusoe desert island excursions (where you're dropped off on an island where it's just the two of you and lunch is served on the beach) sailing cruise and candle lit spa treatment room for couples, then try resorts like...

Kuredu

Four Seasons Giraavaru

Four Seasons Kuda Huraa

Taj Coral Reef Resort & Spa

All the resorts mentioned have other activities too - I don't want to turn this into a thesis so you can have a look at the link below if you like to get a feel for what's offered.

Enjoy your honeymoon, wherever you go!

Chaz

if you choose the maldives choose the south group, the air pollution from indie is serious but this helped to solve the problem of the mysterious global dimming phemomenon.

tahiti is very bad. it sounds corny but bora bora and even moorea is much cleaner and friendlier. travelling 10-20 hours to a place which noisy, dirty enough to feel like to be in any us city maybe senseless. but it's main advantage that in 1-2 hours distance maldives likes atoll are there, and this is not a muslim country so you can bathing under the sun half or totally naked. the tuamotus archipelago prolific people are very amiable and under 20 are very sexy and they don't look after cracks or marihuana.

Maldives is the right place.. its a peaceful country..
huvafen fushi
bandos island resort
kuredhu
club med
are some of the best resorts.. there are about a hundred resorts in maldives.. the staffs are friendly.. the services are good. you will have your best time in maldives..

If you don't have a lot money then try the Bandos or the Kurumba resorts. Bandos is only 20 minutes by speed boat from the capital Male and about an hour by the local boat called 'dhoni' which is quite comfortable and the boatmen are mostly young and speak adequate English.
Kurumba village resort is further away from Male and a bit pricier. The Maldivian govt sometimes accommodate state guests on Kurumba and during those times they don't allow other visitors on the island. So check before you book.
