When was the last time you lied just to gain sympathy?

Pathetic? Yes. Did anyone fall for it?

I used to know someone who does this kind of thing. He'd manipulate people to get on his side by using his religious background. Making the other people (who speaks the truth) looks rather bad . When in reality he's nothing more than one hypocrite person.

How many of you are like that? What are you trying to get out of it? Is it attention you're seeking?

Question Details: Speaking of split personality... I know someone who has 50 over accounts on YAM. He'd post questions and answer his own questions. Fighting with himself using his clones. Pick on new users, manipulative and obviously, he's suffering from personality disorder. He would like to think that he owns YAM. eg. if any of us want to have a "meet up" that he should be informed and invited. Else, he'll get so upset and ***** about it. What do you think? If a person does this, it could mean that he/she craves attention and sympathy. Maybe due to lack of mother's love, lonely (alone and friendless) and having an extremely low self esteem. The song 'I...I who have nothing..I..I who have no one' fit's the bill. U know the song hahahhahah!!!

i never use those lame, pathetic, stupid tactics to gain ppl support & sympathy..

a person using this tactic have a problem in communication, low self esteem, pychologically unstable & god knows what else.. my advise is avoid those kind of ppl.. due to they are not honest person & only end up screwing other ppl's life.. hm.. they might have problem with multiple personality as well (this end up with clones in YA).. this reminds me of movie 'psyco'

Two weeks ago to a traffic policeman so that I don't have to bribe him and so that he won't give me the ticket. It worked out perfectly. I wouldn't call it a lie, merely just twisting the truth. Is that acceptable?
