Christmas in Malaysia - what to do where to go?? |
We are Australian and will be backpacking in Asia. We will be in Malaysia at Christmas. Where would be the best place in Malaysia to stay at this time? What can we expect in the way of things to do and places to go on this day. Is it a public holiday? hey Australian dude,listen to me........i'm a local so i think i know a thing or 2 bout malaysia..... yes. of coz public holiday. i suggest you to go to Sabah and live with people who live inside the very rural village. maybe Bundu Tuhan. lots of tourist spend their time there and celebrating crustmas with the villagers... Christmas is not super duper grand in Malaysia but if u do want to feel the xmas spirit.. then u should head down to : - Try visiting Terengganu. Try langkawi:-http://www.langkawi-info.com/ Head down to busiest place for shopping in Bukit Bintang where lots of activities been line up for this coming X'mas and New Year party. genting highland in pahang is the best place to celebrate christmas I think,.. yes, its a public holiday here.
