Do I need to be good looking to work as a steward in Malaysia airlines?

it's dosent matter for me. the most important is you must have a good and nice attitude and personality . and have a big smile. as long as yr service to customer is always to make customer happy. try it.. u can do that..!

If you look ugly + without confidence = won't get a job with MAS.

If you look ugly + with confidence = you MIGHT get a job with MAS

If you work on your physical outlook (botok, facial products...etc) + confidence = you WILL get a job with MAS

if you are not as bad as incredible hulk..i think you be fine..

I don't care as long as you cover me with the blanket during my flight...... coz I don't bother of anything else during 'flying'. I usually gets awake the nite b4, & always sleeps once I'm boarded......... so, don't kacau ok... u good looking or not.. I tak perasan pun... just do your job k...

No need lah, I frequent flyer with MAS, all look plain to me. No need good looking, no one gives a damn, especially me, always sleeping on the plane, some more I put the DO NOT DISTURB sticker.

But I think you should try with other airlines, not only MAS alone.

Sadly.. Yes, you need a good looking face, average height and a nice body. Because this is about servicing, I think the airlines companies won't take the risk of scarying the customers.

I really have no say for this (looks) but haven't you realized something about 'MAS'?

It stands for 'Mesti Ada Saudara'... if you're walking in without any internal contacts, I'm afraid the chances would be slim compared to those who are in touch with somebody they know who works with MAS. Priority would usually be given to those who possess good communication skills and ENGLISH as a priority (which I hope you do).

what do you mean ugly? Have you get into the Mas already and see all the looks of the steward or stewardess?
All you need is good customer services skills and smile always.. no need very good result, SPM is the perfect certificate to use even if you have the diploma or STPM.. usually they pick candidates which have experience working in servicing job such as KFC, McD and so on..

if u are short and a racist, u will not get the job.

Ok ok....well, I don't really know but I guess you do need to be somewhat good looking or at least have good complexion and of course above a certain height. I guess the whole purpose in all these is because people loves to look at beautiful things. I'm not just talking about person. But just ask ourself, all of us like pretty and cute things, right?
