Why are China roads better THAN Malaysian Roads???????

I would not said so. Unless your statement is like this " why China's Highway are much better then Malaysia's."

Let not compare the road condition between China and Malaysia. Since most of China's road is not in good shape but it is improving.

For Malaysia, after 50 years of independent. Infrastructural is still a key for political success. Most of the politician use this to buy their support. If you submit to the party you will get School, electricity, and water supply. Specially kampung area, only the obedient deserve the kindness from the party.

Secondly, the road is a money printing machine for cretain group. This is a monopoly business, why spend so much money to improve? All they know is when the date to incress the toll again.

Because Malaysia Boleh?

I think Boleh amik cuti is the right word... Malaysians are quite a 'relaxed' lot... if you want further proof, you need to hit the streets and the 'market'...

don't tell me Gov did not allocate enuff. You are wasting money sending someone to space & make him an icon while some part of our country is still in poverty.

I believe it's not the roads in China are better, in US, UK, nearer to Malaysia, Singapore are also much better.

Maybe this is because everytime when the government approves a road building project, the follow up works are not done. When a budget is disbursed, the roads are built by using half of the budget given and how do you expect the roads to be lasting and "better" than others.

For example, the infamous Kepong-Ampang MRR 2, Middle Ring Road 2. The fly over was built with the people's money. Then when the fly over had cracks in the supporting Y-parts, the people's money once again used to repair the fly over.

Why hadn't the contractor(s) being sued for not constructing a safe structure?

That's why the country is always "CAN" in everything, just like the example mentioned above.

In US or UK, the contractor(s) would have been sued for because they did not deliver a safe-to-use fly over and they should be liable to pay for the damages and repairing costs.

China is a very strong country, i been there 2x, you can feel a diffrent each time you go,the road,the buildings even the people! This all about the Goverment. Malaysia? don,t know what to say!

That's becoz China roads are mostly used by bicycle riders which does no harm at all to the road as compared to our heavier vehicle's laden roads. Besides, our extreme weather and constant flooding increases the damage to our roads. Not to mention TNB and Syabas who's doing a job well done at digging and layering back the tarmac like a three year old.

haha ... i think Malaysian is better ... so what? x puas ati? ahaha

What i know is the congestion in China esp Beijing is far more complex than Malaysia. and the cyclists swarm everywhere!!

the first flyover in kk, sabah is constructed by chinamen...

if indeed china roads are better than msian road, at least this is a good relief to us on the other side of the country
