Can muslim and christian believe in feng shui and geomancy?

It is very important to clarify some myths and misconceptions about Feng Shui. Many people who just read books or find websites do not know the true workings of Feng Shui. Therefore, a lot of misconception about Feng Shui comes up.

First off, Feng Shui is not a religion. You do NOT have to worship a Feng Shui god nor do you have to do any Feng Shui rituals. Therefore, it does NOT conflict with any religions or one's faith.

Second, you do not have to believe in Feng Shui for it to work. When applied correctly, Feng Shui will work for you whether you believe it or not. Just like a doctor prescribe a pill for your illness. You do n ot have to "believe" in the pill for it to work. The pill will do what it was designed to do, as long as it was prescribe correctly.

Feng Shui is a natural science based on thousands and thousands of years of recorded observations. It comes down to energy, or better known as Chi. Although Feng Shui was developed in China, many other cultures have similar practices and called a different name.

i'm muslim. the ans is not. but to do a research or to study, i think is okay. but to believe, is totally cant.strictly NO NO. we believe in God. qada n qadar. sekian.terima kaseh..hehe =)

Actually ... we Muslim refer Feng Shui as kind of dicipline rather than a must or belief ... i think as a Muslim .. i have no problem to apply Feng Shui technique in my house since it's good ... and i know the limit that i can't put in the "patung" or something which can effect my Aqidah ...

fengshui is not a belief, it is not a religion.

it is something that is done to a house, then you forget about it, and keep living your life. and your life just seem to be easier and things seem to fall into their right places.

fengshui that needs believing is not fengshui. this is the reason why fengshui auditors/ masters either don't explain what they have done to the house or give a different explanation, besides it's a trade secret.

Honestly, feng shui totally has nothing to do with religion.
It helps those who believes in them. It doesn't hurt rite?
It's not like it has something to do with the demon.

The foreigners believes in fengshui. I saw a TV show before about a white lawyer from England seeking fengshui master's advice to decorate his office.
The other thing is, heard from the elders, when the British came to Tanah Melayu they built something to destroy the fengshui. Such as they built a hospital on top of the temple which brought a lot of lucks to the people, so the temple will be less effective.

Nope they cant. Sadly people believe in a thing called man made religion.

Feng Shui is not a belief system or religion. I don't think it's wrong for the Muslims or Christians to practice it.

No, those who believe in powers other than the Almighty Allah are not Muslims.
