Every religion promotes peace. Its just the people who don't believe in it are making so much fuss about it. Nowadays, people go to war not in the name of religion but for oil, money and freedom.

religion has co-existed with all empires & nation build by man..for example..roman empire with its own pagan religion worshipping gods named from planets such as venus..mars and at the height of its empire..christian was born and guess what..all of its followers were tortured to death..

same goes with islam which was born amongst pagan religion at the time..was not welcomed and all who followed were pursued and tortured to death..

both of these religion eventually survived and became 2 of the largest religion of all..it survived the test of time and thus igniting a war that all of us known as 'the crusades'..

why am i telling u all about the rise of these 2 religion? its because these are the two religion that are always fighting against each other and maybe the caused of all wars created by fanatics all over the world..its not the teaching..its about holiness..i should say..killing in the name of god..a path to heaven..

teachings for islam & christian led by prophet muhammad & jesus is all about love,kindness,worshipping god & ways of a better lives..islam do not force others to follow..so do christian..hinduism..buddhism & judaism..

the reason why in the past..at the starting point of these religion has to kill is that if they don't kill..they will be killed..its logic..n simple..but now..all human in this world are free to practice all kind of religion..so this term must not be used anymore..but..as u all know..we are slowly but surely..will create another war of crusades once again..if fanatics keep fighting..and retaliation continued until the bitter end..

It brings to mind to conclude religion as an opiate of life. People go into withdrawal and what happens wYou know what...? when you look at all the chaos religion has bhen a drug addict suffers withdrawal symtoms ? Yeah, he goes all mess up in his heads. Reasoning don't count anymore and he gets so mighty dangerous causing untold havoc but when he gets his fix just right he feels so cool and easy. That's what religion seem to give a sort of reflection quite similar to people who suffer ailments of drug adiction.
They become all mess up when the drug of their choice is been held and they get wierd ideas how to procure the drug which their hearts have been decieved with.

Of course the world can never be peaceful as long as religion is around and religion will be around til dooms day because humans had choosed religion to be part of life...."The Drug Of Life" and non of us can do anything about it. Why ?...because God wants this special drug for the human kind. It is a very special drug unlike the ones we human created or invented. So if it comes purely from God it must also have the answer which explains about God Almighty in regards to human existence on this tired old Earth. The trouble is humans have wierd ideas about religion and the can become treacherous thinkers using religion for their own selfish gain. God gave this wonder drug to humans but the humans like to play around with it and made the choice to dance the "purba dance" of their own that no longer synchronize naturally with what God had in mind.

Then why did God gave the perception of religion to humans if He jolly well knew that it's gonna be trouble? Aha ! that's the sort of question which will spark more confusion....The answer lies in our hearts. Do we really seriously want to know God ? God is spiritual and so does religion.

Ask our hearts can we forgo all our worldly needs and give God 100% what He wants out of us ? Aha ! problem again, right ? It seems like God is really selfish.... No, He ain't selfish. He is loving and kind in His awesome Godly ways and we should understand this and it won't be such a problem after all because He won't kick our butts simply like that. He give us time to figure what is good and what is bad for us. Does not all religion teach humans to be good ? Yes, we fall and fall again could be many times, but He is always forgiving when ours hearts admit all our wrong doings and shortcomings which means we will never forget Him as our Creator and that is all He really wanted us to be.

So, religion is not the problem but it's us humans taking the perception of religion with unsrupoulous hidden pride and bursting ego which more often than not have turn us into a stupid clown kicking the ball a round and playing a merry-go round in a universal play ground and GOD IS WATCHING AND WAITING WHEN WILL WE EVER LEARN ABOUT OUR EARTHLY EXISTENCE IN REGARDS TO HIM, THE ALMIGHTY CREATOR.

Sadly, religion is one of the reason which cause this. We knew this from history book. Perang Talib etc... Even Klu Klux Klan is a group of people who hurts the other religious and races too. When people form a group (religion or race), they think they're more special than others. They also want others to listen to them, joining them too. This might be one of the reason for them to hurt the others.
