Pls suggest hotel in Penang and Langkawi?

Hi,
Please advise couple of hotels or atleast the area, in Penang and Langkawi.
My requirements are as under:
a. Double-room to be in range of USD 50 to 75 per night.
b. Area of hotel to be either within or very near to night-life areas, like bars, discos etc.
c. Hotel to be safe, secure and clean.

i stayed at AB motel, in a chatet on the beach, aircon, fridge, 2 double beds its on the beach strip, cost was 100MR=$30US. take taxi from ferry or airport, its not expensive. in penang i rented a condo at miami green condos there for a month, there are all facilities at the resort, pool gym spa tennis etc located near batu ferrenghi, it cost me about 3500MR=$1000 US for a 2 bedroom fully furnished high floor with sea views, contact miss lee at www.penang-property.com i just spent 2 + months travelling around malaysia. i hope this helps you

I been to Langkawi with my family ...It's beautiful. We stayed at this beautiful hotel..they provide transportation wherever you wish to go...they also pick up and drop off at the airport.

As in Penang we just rent a cheap one. Like hotel apartment it's a bit inexpensive...I can't remember the name I will email you when I find out. ok?

Evergreen Hotel Penang. About a five minute drive to the nitelife.

for penang if you want to hang out by the beach and also close to night life head to either bayview beach, lone pine or copthorne. if you wanna stay in the city then choose between evergreen laurel or citytel. all the hotels above are close to night life. check with asiarooms.com for good rates.
as for langkawi rooms are slightly fairly expensive and bars are scarce as well but check around at the site and make your pick. have fun.

Night life area's only can be found in Pantai Chenang areas.
