WHAT is the approximate distance from Kualalampur to Selangor Darul, what is the usual conveyance available from Kualalampur to Selangor Darul, and how much maximum it will cost ?

Where in Selangor do you want to go? Distance from Kuala Lumpur city centre to Petaling Jaya is approximately 7 km, to Shah Alam 15 km and to Port Kelang 30 km. There are many unscrupulous taxi drivers in Kuala Lumpur who overcharge foreign passengers or rig their own taxi meters. Expect to pay RM 8 to 25 for a destination in Petaling Jaya, no more than RM40 for Shah Alam and at maximum RM60 to Port Kelang. It is better to call for a taxi than hailing one on the street.

Kid, Selangor Darul Ehsan is a state and Kuala Lumpur is the Federal Territory in Malaysia. In fact Kuala Lumpur is enveloped by Selangor Darul Ehsan. So, if I were at just the border of Kuala Lumpur, it'll take just one step to cross over.

In other words, please state in which part of Kuala Lumpur will you be when you want to travel to which part of Selangor Darul Ehsan. Kuala Lumpur is big but Selangor Darul Ehsan is even bigger. They are commuted by Buses, Taxis, the Putra Rail, the KTM Komuter, and as usual cost is dependant on distance of travel.
