How's the taste of ink in malaysia?

Ahhh....this is interesting....I have been waiting for such a question!!
The taste of ink in Malaysia tastes like ''Otak Udang" (shrimp paste).
YES!!!
I have been told (insider information) that shrimp paste contains black ink to make it so black!! Do you think that it is just made of octopus's ink? NO.
That is why one day, when I added shrimp paste into my bowl of Laksa, I nearly puked just thinking about the black ink!!!
