If I want to start reading some English novals, which book would you recommend?

I love Lord of the ring type, or Science fiction.

You may also like Andre Norton's "Moon Called", a woman with psychic and magical powers comes of age in a post-nuclear holocaust world with - well, wait until you meet the *real* villains!

Another excellent: Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH. Though written for younger readers, I read this recently and it is great! Better than the movie (which was also pretty good).

Harry Potter.. very similar to LoR..ive heard..

try the wheel of time , it a series of books ,its great.

start with THE SECRET SEVEN ,FAMOUS FIVE,NANCY DREW,HARDY BOYS and so on
but please do not read HARRY POTTER cuz it is so un real ang bugging

If you like Sci Fi and comedy then you will love anything written by Douglas Adams, believe me!
