G'day from me in Australia. Lol - why is my important cultural question being met with ridicule we like to move it, move it! the jungle is very loud. Madagascar is the fourth largest island in the world. It is a fascinating country which has a rich biodiversity, is famous for its lemurs, lush vegetation and orchids. As for culture, Madagascar is very anchored in traditions and one well known festival is the celebration of the dead. The inhabitants unearth the bones of the dead, place them in a cloth, and there are rites accompanied with music and song taking place. Then the bones are buried again. |
